The Kentec K560 is a 16-channel input/output expansion board for Kentec Syncro AS and Taktis fire alarm control panels. Each channel can be set as an input or an output. Typical uses include geographical LED mimic displays and plant alarm inputs.
Boards connect to the panel over a simple two-wire RS485 bus. They can be mounted inside the panel or spread along a bus up to 1.2 km long. Up to 32 boards can be fitted per panel, giving 512 I/O channels, and they can be mixed with Syncro 8-way relay, 6-way sounder and 4-way conventional zone boards.
