The Hochiki DCD-AE3(WHT) is a conventional heat detector in a white case that combines rate of rise detection with a 60°C fixed temperature element. It uses a thermistor and linearising circuit to give an accurate linear response, and is ideal where medium ambient temperatures exist or where smoke detectors are unsuitable because of steam or cooking fumes, such as kitchens and drying rooms. It is supported on the majority of conventional systems and fits a range of Hochiki conventional bases.
