The Notifier NFXI-SMT2-BK is the black version of the Opal NFXI-SMT2 analogue addressable photo-thermal multi-criteria detector with built-in short-circuit isolator. It adds heat sensing to a photoelectric smoke sensor for better false alarm immunity and a faster response to a wide range of fires. It uses the Notifier Opal advanced digital protocol and fits the B501AP analogue sensor base.
The smoke element meets EN 54-7, and the 58°C fixed-temperature and rate-of-rise heat assistance meets EN 54-5. Where normal daytime activities could cause unwanted alarms, the detector can be set to run in heat-only mode and switch back to full photo-thermal operation when the area is unoccupied.
Key features
