The Xtralis VESDA-E VEA-040-A10 is a 40-tube addressable aspirating smoke detector with a 3.5" colour touch screen. It draws air through microbore tubes from up to 40 individual sampling points, giving very early warning with pinpoint location of the source of a fire.
It is suited to healthcare, offices, education, retail, prisons and electrical cabinets, and networks with other VESDA devices on VESDAnet.
Key features
- 40 addressable microbore tubes, each with its own sampling point
- After a Fire 1 alarm the rotary valve scans the sampling locations to identify where the smoke is
- Single sampling point or tube blockage, breakage and sampling point presence checks at set intervals
- Automatic sampling point cleaning at set intervals
- Laser-based absolute smoke detection with coarse particle filtering and clean air barrier
- Three sensitivity settings for the sampling points; Alert and Action pre-alarms
- Seven programmable relays and two GPIs
- VESDAnet, Ethernet (100BASE-T) and USB connectivity; Xtralis VSC and VSM4 software support
- Field-replaceable filter, smoke sensor module, pump and rotary valve
- Event log of up to 20,000 events
