The Advanced MXP-635-BD/AB is the 'up' bi-directional Small Form Pluggable (SFP) fibre optic module for the Advanced MXP-635-A active and MXP-635-P passive fibre optic converters used on fire panel networks. Used together with its partner module MXP-635-BD/BA ('down'), it provides bi-directional network communication on a single single-mode fibre optic cable.
The module includes an enhanced Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) interface compliant with SFF-8472, giving real-time access to operating parameters such as module temperature, laser bias current, transmitted and received optical power, and supply voltage.
